Brian L. McGuire is a former Chair of the IMA Global Board and a member of the IMA Emeritus Committee. He served in the Chair role in fiscal 2011-2012. In the past, he has also served as chair of the Governance, the Planning and Development, the Performance Oversight and Audit, the External/Member Relations, and the Volunteer Leadership Standing Board Committees.

McGuire is the Associate Dean of the Romain College of Business, Director of Accounting Programs, and Professor of Accounting at the University of Southern Indiana (USI). In addition, he serves as a consultant through USI’s Center for Applied Research, and most recently, served as an expert witness in an Indiana Superior Court.

McGuire received his Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida and his MBA and BS degrees from the University of South Alabama. Along with being a CMA and a CPA, McGuire is a Certified Business Manager (CBM) and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), and he has professional experience in both public and corporate accounting.
