Diversifying Global Accounting Talent: Actionable Solutions for Progress
This report, Diversifying Global Accounting Talent: Actionable Solutions for Progress, details the results of a fifth, capstone study focused on solutions for progress and representing one of the largest collective DE&I initiatives in the history of the global accounting profession.
Recommended solutions are presented in the form of an inventory of actionable practices which includes nearly 80 practices that can be implemented today to enact DE&I progress across the profession. These practices are mapped to the relevant United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and include accompanying indicators and metrics to measure progress toward desired outcomes.
This report’s co-sponsors, research partner, and fellow DE&I Advocates, issue a call-to-action to the global accounting profession to partner for collective action toward DE&I progress:
"Together with our research partner and DE&I advocates, we urge the profession to commit to take action and work together to enable and implement DE&I practices toward progress. We call on the profession’s leaders to join us in a commitment to drive change and ensure the long-term sustainability of a vibrant, diverse, inclusive, and equitable accounting and finance profession. We’re united in what we’re asking for and prepared to achieve it. Are you?"
