The GALESC committee is responsible for reviewing Global Award and Leadership Experience nominations and selecting recipients, through a fair and effective process, in fact and in appearance, on an annual basis, who reflect IMA’s Mission and Global Core Values.

Americas Global Accounting and Finance Conference Program Committee
IMA’s Accounting and Finance Program Committee works with staff to develop the learning program for IMA’s largest annual event. The committee evaluates and selects the concurrent session speakers to ensure a relevant, balanced learning experience for attendees.

Committee on Academic Relations (CAR)
The Committee on Academic Relations’ (CAR) main focus is to enhance and grow the IMA Higher Education Endorsement Program as well as promote IMA and CMA certification among academic leaders.

Emerging Issues & Innovation Committee
The Emerging Issues & Innovation Committee was established to identify and explore emerging issues and trends facing business professionals.
The committee will assist staff develop new products and services for emerging issues that align with real-life career challenges facing our customers.

Financial Reporting Committee (FRC)
IMA’s FRC follows the latest developments in financial reporting and develops our positions related to financial accounting, auditing, and corporate reporting. This includes proposed rules, regulations, principles, and standards by authoritative bodies. The FRC is designed to advocate on behalf of IMA members and the profession at-large.

Volunteer Engagement & Communities Committee
The Volunteer Engagement & Community Committee's purpose is to identify ways to increase community engagement, enhance volunteer satisfaction, and support the organization's global member needs.
The committee will support IMA’s strategic goal to create a modern, digitally enabled membership, add community experience that is locally relevant and globally connected.

China Education Committee
To help drive the development of Management Accounting in China, increase contribution to the China professional and higher education market, actively promote research in management accounting base on China local economy environment, promote the construction and development of higher education system in management accounting, strengthen academic exchanges among global universities, as well as supporting the training and development of management accounting professionals.
