Prakash Rajan, CMA, CPA, CA
Prakash Rajan recently served as the head of the internal audit function of Kraton Corporation, a position he held since July 2018. In that role, he was responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of Kraton’s financial reporting controls as well as the underlying operations, functions and resources including the company’s information technologies.
Prior to Kraton, Prakash worked for more than 25 years in public accounting with a Big Four firm and in senior finance roles in internal controls and risk management in corporations in the pharmaceutical, biotech, semi-conductor equipment manufacturing, information technology, and specialty chemicals industries, including an expatriate stint in Spain.
Prakash earned an MBA from Drexel University, and he is a CMA as well as a CPA. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant in India.
Prakash has been an IMA member for more than 32 years and has served on IMA’s Committee on Ethics for six years, including the last two years as vice-chair and chair, respectively. He also has served as a member of IMA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and IMA’s Sustainability Business Management Committee. He is currently a member of IMA’s Governance Standing Board Committee and is chair of IMA’s Performance Oversight and Audit Standing Board Committee.
