Scholarship Details
SCMS offers a scholarship to a graduate or undergraduate student based on specific criteria.

IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) Century Scholarship will recognize up to two active IMA student members, from IMA’s Endorsed Schools and/or are official members of an active IMA student chapter. This scholarship is available to undergraduate senior students or graduate students in accounting or related field in the upcoming academic year. The recipients will receive an award of $7,500 as well as a CMA scholarship.

Available to all candidates in an accredited doctoral accounting program concentrating in management accounting or financial management, this program enables candidates to take the CMA exam at no cost.

This program provides support for students at various stages in their doctoral education in accredited programs, enabling them to work on studies that will advance the practice and research of management accounting. Up to $10,000 total are awarded in research dollars.

Awards and Competition Details
The globally popular IMA Student Case Competition invites college or university students to think strategically and stretch their analytical skills to solve a business case. The IMA Student Case Competition is comprised of six regional competitions. Students are eligible to participate in their regional competition.
Deadlines differ in each region.
Student chapters compete for a gold, silver, or bronze award of excellence by promoting IMA's mission/vision and providing a variety of activities/services to their student members. Starting in 2021, all schools who achieve gold will receive $500.
Deadline: First Submission: Oct 31, Final Submission: Mar 31
This award acknowledges a student chapter whose efforts best reflect outstanding leadership through innovation, organizational development, and interdependent partnerships.
Deadline: March 1
This program provides student members the opportunity to share their IMA student membership experiences in the form of an 800-word essay.
Deadline: March 20
